Understand the problem before treatment.
Suspected cockroaches need careful identification and prompt attention. Chris can assess the activity and explain a plan for the property.

Cockroach biology and behaviour.
Biology and life cycle
Cockroaches are insects that develop from eggs through immature nymph stages to adults. German and Oriental cockroaches are common pest species in UK buildings, but their preferred conditions and hiding places differ.
Where they live and how they behave
They often remain concealed during the day and forage after dark. Food areas, service ducts, gaps around equipment and other sheltered spaces deserve attention, particularly where warmth, moisture and food are available.
How Chris can help
Chris checks the species, hiding places and extent of activity before recommending treatment and monitoring. In shared or commercial buildings, the assessment may need to consider adjoining areas and routes between rooms.
Prevention and preparation
Keep food covered, clear residues and waste, and report leaks or damp areas. Avoid moving suspect stock or equipment between rooms before advice.
